Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence

ATEA is excited to host a meet up on Saturday, Nov. 18th, 2017 at 9:00 am on the topic of Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
The event will be at the Applied Materials Campus (3050 Bowers Avenue, Building 1 in Santa Clara). Some light refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the event.
We have lined up an excellent pool of speakers – practitioners, technologists and VCs to help you dive into this hot area.
You will hear about how Data Science is used by companies in two different areas: Finance and Life Sciences. You will also understand the inner workings of deep learning software such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras etc.
The speakers include Dr. Ravi Chityala, who has conducted Tensorflow workshops at major conferences; Madhu Iyer, who is the Chief Data Officer of a Khosla Ventures backed Startup and Malaikannan Sankarasubbu, who leads the AI Research Lab at a company focussed on getting drugs/medicines to market faster.
You will get to understand the inner workings of the technology and also how the technology is being used in real life applications. In the panel that features a Corporate VC, you will get to know where the opportunities are in this exciting space.
The cost is $5 if you are an ATEA member and $15 for non-members.
