ATEA Announces GTEN World in Silicon Valley

Update: ATEA GTEN World conference stands postponed. Plans will be announced later.

American Tamil Entrepreneurs Association (ATEA) is excited to announce GTEN World 2017 Conference in Silicon Valley. The event is scheduled for October 14-15, 2017.

ATEA recently organized GTEN (Global Tamil Entrepreneurs Network) spring session in Silicon Valley, which was well received by the participants.

As the name suggests, GTEN World 2017 is expected to attract interest from Tamil entrepreneurs and participants from across the world.

GTEN World will be a two day conference with eminent speakers from US and abroad sharing their stories and expertise. Keynotes, Panel discussions, Lightning talks, Startup Pitching, Hackathon, Networking, and Mentor Connect segments will be part of the conference.

Over 50 distinguished speakers and 700 attendees (entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, executives, youth and students) are expected to be part of GTEN World 2017.

Design Thinking Seminar for CXOs and Senior Leaders

American Tamil Entrepreneurs Association (ATEA) has scheduled a Design Thinking Seminar for CXOs, Entrepreneurs, Strategists and Senior Leaders on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 (6 pm to 9 pm PT) to be held in Santa Clara, California.  This will be an invite-only event with limited seats.

The Design Thinking seminar will have you spend an evening learning and practicing alternative paths to leadership and innovation by applying Design Thinking tools to strategy, product, innovation and engagement. In this session, you will learn to embed experience design in your organizations by:

  • Truly understanding your customer
  • Bringing empathy to the organization
  • Designing in real-time
  • Acting quickly

The seminar involves going through a condensed and simple approach to practice Design Thinking tools and techniques you can apply to address your own business challenges.


The Design Thinking Seminar will be facilitated by the IT industry veteran L C Singh, Chairman and CEO of Nihilent Technologies, a worldwide change management and consulting firm.
