Nandini Ramani, Vice President – Engineering, Twitter will be a keynote speaker in GTEN (Global Tamil Entrepreneurs Network) Spring 2017 meet in Santa Clara, California – organized by ATEA (American Tamil Entrepreneurs Association). She will talk about her experiences and lessons for intrapreneurs.
Nandini will also moderate the panel discussion on Women In Business. Veena Kumaravel, co-founder of Naturals Salon and Spa (India), Sudha Michel, co-founder of NeoAccell, and Sowmiya Chocka Narayanan, co-founder and CTO of Lily App will be the Women in Business panel members.

American Tamil Entrepreneurs Association (ATEA) is a non-profit, entrepreneurship focused organization run by volunteers. ATEA serves the needs of Tamil diaspora in US. A number of volunteers put significant number of hours and efforts for day to day operations as well as special events. We welcome passionate volunteers who can take responsibility for their tasks with minimal supervision.
Volunteering is driven passion toward a cause. Volunteering also helps learn new skilss and improve current skills.
For example, if you are passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, technology startups, and giving back to the community, ATEA is a great organization. We are small, nimble and passionate!
Volunteering is age-independent. Persons of every age have certain specific knowledge and skills that can be contributed. It is key to select a right activity / task set that fits you so that you can make meaningful contributions.
A Silicon Valley Tamil Entrepreneurs Meetup has been planned for May 7, 2016, Saturday evening at 6:00 PM. Tentative location is Santa Clara Convention Center / Hyatt Regency Hotel on Great America Parkway; will confirm the exact location / room via email on Friday.
This event is scheduled on the sidelines of TiEcon 2016, world’s largest Entrepreneurship Conference, after the final, grand keynote. Attendees would be able to participate in the meetup after the Saturday events (prior to the entertainment finale at 8:30 pm).
