A number of entrepreneurs, industry executives, and thought leaders have been signed up as great speakers and panelists to share their thoughts and experience.

M.R. Rangaswami

M.R. Rangaswami is a software executive, investor, entrepreneur, corporate eco-strategy expert, community builder and philanthropist. Recognized as a software business expert, he participated in the rapid expansion of the Silicon Valley software industry during his tenure as an executive at both large and small software companies. In 1997, he co-founded Sand Hill Group one of the earliest “angel” investment firms and was featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal. He produced the prestigious Enterprise and Software conferences that were held in Silicon Valley. He was also listed on the Forbes “Midas” list of investors. M.R. is the publisher of a leading website for entrepreneurs, VCs and CIOs.

In 2007, M.R. embarked on a new venture as the founder of the Corporate Eco Forum, an invitation-only membership organization for Global 500 companies that demonstrate a serious commitment to environment as a business strategy issue.

In 2012, M.R. founded Indiaspora (a non-profit) in 2012 to unite Indian Americans and to transform their success into meaningful impact in India and on the global stage. Indiaspora acts as a catalyst to transform the success of Indian Americans into meaningful impact in India and on the global stage.

By sharing insights, hosting events and connecting people, Indiaspora unites the professionally, geographically and religiously diverse Indian American community toward collective action. Indiaspora events include its annual leadership forum, The Indiaspora Dialogue and the Indiaspora Ball & Gala. Indiaspora also engages in community issues like the initiative to get the USPS to issue a Diwali stamp in 2016.

Sramana Mitra

Sramana Mitra, founder of 1 Million by 1 Million, will be a guest speaker delivering a speech on Startup Ecosystems in Silicon Valley and India.

Prabakaran Murugaiah

Prabakaran Murugaiah is a Tech Entrepreneur, Speaker and Author. He is the Founder and CEO of, a fast growing technology jobs platform reaching 6,000 IT companies, 2.9 million technology professionals and 300,000 tech jobs annually.

He is a passionate tech entrepreneur to support companies create 1+ million new tech jobs through thought leadership, evangelization and global events.

He is the Founder Chairman of Tiliconveli Tech Park in South Tamil Nadu. He is also a seed / angel investor.


Prabakar Sundarrajan

Prabakar is Chief Strategist and Co-founder of The Fabric. Prabakar spearheads the technology and strategic elements of The Fabric’s co-creation initiatives, bringing over 30 years of entrepreneurial success to the effort.

Prabakar has co-founded and had successful exits in multiple start-ups.

Previously, Prabakar drove Juniper’s content and media strategy and the technology for its media delivery infrastructure solutions, which an outgrowth of Juniper’s acquisition of Ankeena, which he co-founded with Rajan. Before Ankeena, Prabakar was at Citrix Systems, driving the technology vision and product strategy of the company’s Application Networking Group. Prabakar joined Citrix via its acquisition of NetScaler Inc., where he served as CTO and EVP of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development.

Prior to Netscaler, Prabakar was Senior VP of Technology at Exodus Communications. Prabakar has over 25 years of leadership experience in the hi- tech industry where he has held a variety of executive positions spanning engineering, marketing, and business strategy at companies such as Intel, Hewlett-Packard, and IBM. Prabakar has served on the board of directors and/or technical advisory board of several companies and is a charter member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE).

Prabakar holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and B.S. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Rajan Raghavan

Rajan Raghavan is CEO and Co-founder of The Fabric, a startup co-creation foundry, and accelerator. Rajan actively collaborates with entrepreneurs to help create startups in cloud space. At The Fabric, where along with Fabric team and entrepreneurs he has co-created multiple portfolio companies.

Previously, he was a founder of several companies. Prior to The Fabric, Rajan along with Prabakar co-founded Ankeena, which was acquired by Juniper. Rajan has also served as an adviser to numerous startups in the software, semiconductor, and systems space.

Rajan holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University, MBA from Syracuse University, and Bachelors degree from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli.


Anand Jagannathan

Anand Jagannathan is a legendary entrepreneur and founder of five companies in Silicon Valley. Two of his companies went to IPO. His startups are:

Founder, VP at Banyan Systems – pioneer in networking, IPO in 1991, currently spun off as two public companies – EPRE, SWBD.

Founder, CEO at Reach Software – messaging and workflow software.

Founder, CEO at Responsys, Inc – leader in online interactive marketing, private company with 250 major brand name customers. IPO in 2011 (MKTG).

Founder, CEO at iStorez Inc. (previously Kriyari) – Online shopping aggregating store catalogs. Sold to TheFind.

Founder, CEO at Engage.Social – Campaign platform for Social Media Marketing.

Anand has a PhD in Computer Science from Rice University and B.S. Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.


Praveena Varadarajan

Praveena Varadarajan is the Vice President – Product Engineering and Development at FICO.

She is a results driven Software Engineering Executive, with expertise in envisioning and leading multi-million dollar technology initiatives; grounded solidly on business and economic value. Impressive, fast track management career marked by demonstrated ability to build peak-performing teams to achieve cross functional business objectives spanning multiple industries.

Prior to FICO, she was with Oracle, Avaya and Sun Microsystems in various technology roles. She has a Masters in Computer Science from BITS, Pilani.


Preethy Padmanabhan

Preethy Padmanabhan is the Director, Business Strategy, Operations, Head of Vertical Marketing at Nutanix.

She has 17+ years high tech and leadership experience across product marketing, sales & engineering. In her current role she runs global business strategy and ops as Chief of Staff for VP of Global Accounts Sales at Nutanix.

In past roles, at Dell Wyse and Cisco, she led multiple teams for product and marketing end-to-end solution launches across Cloud computing, virtualization, networking, security, collaboration technologies. Preethy has strong expertise in business strategy, go to market strategy, market analysis, messaging, competitive positioning, demand generation, ROI/TCO analysis.

Preethy has an Executive MBA from UCLA Anderson graduating with distinction, focusing on Entrepreneurship & Marketing. She has an undergrad from BITS Pilani, India.


Anu Shultes

Anu Shultes is the General Manager – Loans at San Francisco based fintech firm Lendup. She is consumer focused Payments Innovator with deep experience in all aspects of General management: P&L management, Product, Customer Acquisition, Analytics, Credit Risk Management and Brand development. Her experience includes working in the retail industry, retail banking, online banking, lending, and prepaid products. She is interested in high growth businesses and organizations that are customer centric and want to make the world a better place.

Prior to that Anu was Chief Operating Officer and Head of Product in Swych, a mobile-first e-gifting platform.

She served as General Manager (Prepaid Telecom and Financial Services) in Blackhawk prior to Swych.

She has an MBA from The Ohio State University and MS (Operations Research) from the Case Western Reserve University.


Raghu Sethuraman

Raghu Sethuraman is the General Manager for Azure Cloud, Microsoft. Prior to this he was responsible for global capacity delivery of MSFT Cloud Infrastructure – across all data center servers, networks, compute and storage infrastructure, and deliver the best cloud capacity with customer experience at optimal cost.

He is also on the advisory board of several startups, including SkuChain – Blockchain for Smart Contracts and Supply Chain Solutions.

He has extensive global leadership experience in fast growing E-commerce, Cloud and High Tech organizations such as Amazon, Cisco Systems, Microsoft, and Shutterfly with tremendous focus on growing top notch people, processes and building products.


Sundi Natarajan

Sundi Natarajan is an entrepreneur, angel investor, board advisor and technology executive. He is an active angel investor, member at Indian Angel Network, Bengaluru.

He is the board member at PrazAs Inc (Creators of Tabtor / Thinkster Math). He co-founded Sparksoft Corporation, which is a qualified federal contractor. He was responsible for COE’s Product Solutions that includes Enterprise Human Resource Integration (EHRI); Statistical Data Mart; GoalOwner.

Charter Member & Board Member at TiE-DC – Washington’s largest organization of entrepreneurs, dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, from Richmond to New York.


Andi Giri

Andi Giri Andi is a Thought Leader in the Cloud Computing arena. Andi has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry with 9 years in SAAS application building. Since 2008, he has been building Softsquare’s Product development (PDO) and SI practice with Salesforce. Andi’s team has deep-configured towards effective business transformation. Andi leads a large team of talented individuals whose primary mission is to solve application problems for their 50+ customers in USA, UAE, South Africa, Thailand, China, and IndiaI am a [Technology | Products | Investment] professional with interests/expertise in the broader product development for early-stage ventures in the SW, Semiconductor, eCommerce, and Interactive Entertainment (Gaming) and related consumer electronics verticals. Core expertise in VC deal development.

Andi graduated from College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai, India with a BE in Electronics and Communication, the University of Maryland at College Park with a MS degree in Computer Engineering, and the University of Phoenix with a MBA.


Raghu Madabushi

Raghu Madabushi is currently serving as a Director in GE Ventures. He is a Technology, Products and Investment professional with interests/expertise in the broader product development for early-stage ventures in the SW, Semiconductor, eCommerce, and Interactive Entertainment (Gaming) and related consumer electronics verticals. Core expertise in VC deal development.

Prior to GE, he was with Linux Foundation as a Senior Director, and Intellectual Ventures as a Director & Head (Incubation and New Ventures).

He has a BE (Electrical Engineering) from University of Madras, MS (Computer Engineering) from Iowas State and MBA from Methodist University.


Sudarshan Srinivasan

Sudarshan Srinivasan is Vice President Marketing at Dome9, which delivers verifiable cloud infrastructure security and compliance to businesses across every public cloud.

Prior to Dome9, he was with Nutanix as Director of Product Marketing. He was also with Coraid, Inc. and Deloitte Consulting serving as Engagement Manager. He has a stint in Microsoft as a development engineer.

He has an MBA from Stanford University, MS in Computer Science from University of Illinois (UC), and BE (Hons) from BITS, Pilani.


Ramesh Ramadoss

Ramesh Ramadoss has 10 years of industrial experience as an Engineering Manager /Technical Director in technology companies in Silicon Valley, California, USA. Currently, he is the President & CEO of LoanCoins Inc.

He is the author or coauthor of 1 book, 3 book chapters and 55 research papers. He has delivered talks at over 30 international conferences. He has conducted projects for DARPA, NASA, US Army, US Air Force, Sandia National Labs, and Motorola Labs.

In 2017, he served as the Chair of the IEEE Santa Clara Valley Section, the world’s largest IEEE Section located in the heart of Silicon Valley. Currently, he serves as the Chair of the IEEE P2418 Blockchain Standards Working Group. Also, he is a Co-chair of the IEEE Blockchain Initiative.

He received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder, USA in 2003. He has 4 years of academic experience as an Assistant Professor at Auburn University, Auburn, AL, USA.


Mani Krishnan

Subramanian (Mani) Krishnan has nearly forty years of experience in identifying market needs and creating business ventures to meet these needs. A seasoned entrepreneur founded and built technology services, distribution and retail brands across US, India and Singapore. Mani is the Founder and President of Shastha Foods based in San Francisco Bay area. Shastha foods is a distributor and retailer of Indian ethnic foods.

Prior to Shastha foods, he established businesses and distribution centers across Singapore and India and developed the organization to be the second largest distributor of hi-tech products in India. Mani created Shasta foods to address the needs of Indian consumers that are currently being sold in 9 states in USA and the brand is recognized as the leader in its field. He is an active community supporter and philanthropist supporting several not-for-profit initiatives.


Velchamy Sankarlingam

Velchamy Sankarlingam is Vice President of Cloud Services Development and Operations at VMware and has a dual role in IT and R&D managing all infrastructure and common SaaS Operations.

Prior to joining VMware, Velchamy was Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Cisco responsible for Engineering and Operations of WebEx. Before that, Velchamy held Vice President positions at WebEx (was acquired by Cisco) and (was acquired by WebEx). Velchamy also worked at Anderson Consulting (now Accenture), IBM, Network Computing Devices and Standard MicroSystems.

Velchamy has a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, a Masters in Computer Science, a Masters in Management and Policy and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program. Velchamy is on the advisory board of Ring Central and on the board of Bellus 3D.


Shanmugavel Sankaran

Shanmugavel (Shan) Sankaran is the Founder and CEO of FixNix, a leading SaaS based GRC solutions company based in Chennai, India.

Shan, as a founder FixNix, a disruptor of award winning most innovative regTech company, has been accepted into the Forbes Technology Council, an invitation-only community for world-class CIOs, CTOs and technology executives.

Prior to FixNix, he was with Microsoft and IBM in India.

He has a Bachelors degree in Information Technology from Bharathidasan University and Masters in Computer Science Engineering from IIIT, Hyderabad.
